Bangka Belitung, IO – Presidential candidate No 2, Prabowo Subianto, revealed a number of programs he would implement should he get the mandate to lead the country in front of thousands of Bangka Belitung residents.
He said the work program is contained in the ‘Nation Transformation Strategy’. Along with his running mate Gibran Rakabuming Raka and the Onward Indonesia Coalition, he reiterated the commitment to improving the well-being of the Indonesian people.
“We have prepared a program to bring Indonesia into a developed country, an industrial country, a prosperous country and we named it ‘National Transformation Strategy’,” said Prabowo at a rally held at Sahabudin Sports Complex, Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands, Thu (11/1).
Prabowo said Indonesia must now take a giant leap forward. “We want transformation. We want to take the leap to become a great country,” said Prabowo.
He believes that with abundant natural resources, Indonesia has a bright and promising future. Prabowo said he seeks to process all commodities in the country so that the results can be enjoyed by the people.
“We will exploit our natural wealth for the greatest benefits of the Indonesian people,” he said.
On this occasion, Prabowo also presented a program regarding the distribution of free milk and lunches for school children as an important stepping stone to achieve this goal.
“We will help children from an early age, even those who are still in the womb, with the best nutrition,” said Prabowo.
He believes that children who grow up with good nutrition will be the generation that will take Indonesia forward. Prabowo hopes that this effort can thwart all forms of potential ‘colonization’ by other countries.

“We want to be a country that is equal to other countries. We don’t want to be colonized again, we don’t want to be lackeys to other nations,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo also emphasized that he would eradicate corruption as a solution to eliminating poverty. “By eliminating corruption, we will eliminate poverty from Indonesia,” he said firmly.
