On this occasion, the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, announced the innovators nominated for the RekaPitch program, held on the previous day. The selected innovators were from the November 10 Institute of Technology, Bandung Institute of Technology, and Tanjungpura University. RekaPitch also selected several innovators from vocational colleges of the Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic, Makassar.
All the nominated innovators had to go through a direct selection process by DUDI partners: PT PLN and PT Pelindo. In the final judging, which took place on Tuesday, December 6, in Bali, the jury curated the innovation by all ten RekaPitch participants after passing the pitching for PT PLN and PT Pelindo. PT Pelindo’s RekaPitch participants did not only come from universities in big cities on the island of Java but also from Pontianak and Makassar.
Each RekaPitch winner will receive 100% in funds from PT PLN and PT Pelindo to do the research. The collaboration between PT PLN and PT Pelindo in supporting the Kedaireka RekaPitch program will help create innovations to provide solutions for industrial needs.
