Jakarta, IO – El Toro, the first Latin Caribbean restaurant in Indonesia, is thrilled to announce its official opening as a full dine-in establishment, after successfully operating as a cloud kitchen during the challenging COVID-19 era, and continuing its success as a small dine-in outlet at a mall. This exciting culinary venture aims to introduce the vibrant and diverse flavors of Latin American and Caribbean cuisine to the Indonesian community.

Owned and led by Martin Dan, a native of Barbados, the Caribbean, El Toro is dedicated to offering an unforgettable dining experience that reflects the soulful and authentic essence of the region’s culinary traditions. With a menu curated with love and expertise, El Toro showcases a wide range of Latin American and Caribbean dishes, made from scratch and using fresh and healthy ingredients, including sauces and marinades made from 100% herbs and vegetables.

El Toro takes pride in its emphasis on health-conscious dining options. The menu features an abundance of vegetables, grilled proteins, rice bowls and filling appetizers, providing a delightful array of choices suitable for guests of all ages. People’s favorite from the cloud kitchen days: Jamaican Bowl, which consists of the infamous Jamaican jerk chicken, yellow garlic rice, baked beans and fresh sides, is still going to be the talk of the town in this new premise. Additional not-to-be-missed menu would be the Mexican Bowl that offers the best quality of wagyu beef, marinated in fresh-made sauces, grilled to perfection and served with Mexican tomato rice and sides.

The new premises also will not disappoint, from the moment guests step foot inside the vibrant and inviting interior, they are transported to a tropical Caribbean paradise, complete with colorful decorations and a lively atmosphere.

“It has been a dream of mine to share the comfort food of my home and introduce the passion and authenticity to all the guests” says Martin Dan, owner and the creative chef behind El Toro’s unique and tantalizing dishes. “Latin Caribbean cuisine holds a special place in my heart, as it reflects the soulful food I grew up eating every day. I am thrilled to bring this rich and vibrant culinary heritage to Indonesia.”
