Jakarta, IO – Health workers innoculated residents with the Inavac vaccine at the office of Jakarta Health Bureau (19/12).
The bureau is carrying out free vaccinations for residents in anticipation of Covid-19 resurgence. The city has seen increased caseload in the past few days. The Health Ministry (Kemenkes) urges the public to adopt good hygiene practices and join the vaccination booster program to bolster their immune system or antibodies.

Ngabila Salama, the bureau’s head of the surveillance, epidemiology and immunization, said 24,000 doses of vaccine doses have been distributed to all vaccination centers in Jakarta. For residents who wish to be vaccinated for free, they only need to bring their ID card to the nearest vaccination center according to the schedule, from Monday to Friday 1-4pm WIB at Jakarta City Hall and Monday to Friday 18am to noon at the other centers.
