YPA-MDR invites all foster schools to enhance collaboration and achievement in producing independent young generation who are able to develop their region, in accordance with the foundation’s first principle of its Catur Dharma philosophy – “To become an asset for the country and nation,” which stems for the idealism espoused by Astra’s founders, namely “To Prosper with the Nation.”

YPA-MDR also acknowledged and appreciated the support of various parties in the event, including PT. Marga Mandalasakti, PT. Lintas Marga Sedaya, PT. United Tractors Tbk, PT. Pama Persada Nusantara and Group, Bina Harati Pama Foundation, PT. Tuah Turangga Agung, PT. Astra Honda Motor, PT. Asuransi Astra Buana and PT. Federal International Finance.

YPA-MDR’s Contribution to Improving the Quality of Indonesian Education

YPA-MDR was established in 2009 by PT Astra International Tbk as an implementer of the company’s sustainable social contributions in the field of education by supporting schools in disadvantaged areas in Indonesia and become a manifestation of Astra’s Smart Indonesia pillar.

The vision, mission and goal of YPA-MDR is to become an institution that produces Superior Schools in underprivileged areas and quality Human Resources (HR) expected to become agents of change towards realizing a prosperous society. The coaching pattern is based on four pillars, namely academic, character, life skills and culture & arts. In addition, YPA-MDR also provides assistance in the form of infrastructure to support teaching and learning activities according to the Minimum Service Standards (SPM) stipulated by the government.

To date, YPA-MDR has adopted 110 schools consisting of SD, SMP and SMK/SMA across 13 regencies: South Lampung, Serang, Tangerang, Bogor, Majalengka, Kapuas, West Kutai, North Barito, Bantul, Gunungkidul, Pacitan, Kupang and Rote Ndao.
