Jakarta, IO – Putri Candrawati (PC), wife of ex-police internal affairs chief Ferdy Sambo, denied allegation that she was involved in the murder of Police Brigadier Yoshua Hutabarat (“Brigadier J”). Putri, who was named a suspect in the case, even insisted that she was sexually assaulted by Brigadier J, her husband’s aide/adjutant.

She made the statement when she was interrogated for 12 hours by the Criminal Investigation Division on Friday (26/8). She was asked 80 questions by investigators, reported Suara.

“Mrs. PC explained during the questioning that she was a victim of immoral acts or sexual violence in this case, it was stated in the BAP (investigation report),” Suara cited her attorney Arman Haris as saying on Saturday (27/8).

Arman said Putri Candrawati also denied her involvement in the murder scenario concocted by her husband. According to him, her statement about it has been consistent from the start.

“Our client, Ibu PC, has consistently answered all questions in the relevant BAP, including the allegations made against her,” explained Arman.
