Prof. Dr. Ing. Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie, popularly known as BJ Habibie, was born on June 25, 1936. He was Indonesia’s 3rd president who served from May 21, 1998 to October 20, 1999, succeeding President Suharto. He was formerly Indonesia’s 7th vice president (March 11 to May 21, 1998)
