West Jakarta Police arrest Indonesian traveler who smuggles drug from Malaysia in underwear

Jakarta, IO – West Jakarta Police arrested an Indonesian citizen who was back from vacationing in Malaysia. HT (24) tried to smuggle methamphetamine, ecstasy and “Happy Five” drugs by putting them in their underwear.

West Jakarta Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, Adjunct Chief Commissioner Akmal in his official statement, Friday (30/9) explained that it all started when the police received information on drug smuggling activities from Malaysia to Indonesia through Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

HT was arrested after he arrived at the airport after the Customs department detected the illicit drugs using X-Ray machine. They found two packages of methamphetamine weighing 6.25 grams, 15.5 ecstasy pills and 10 “Happy Five” pills.
