Unboxing The First Ducati Pangale V4 in Indonesia

IO – Indonesian biker Andi Zaenal, who is also a young entrepreneur and lives in Harapan Indah, Bekasi, West Java, has successfully brought the first 2020 Ducati Panigale V4 in Indonesia, Saturday, August 15, 2020.

Andi admitted he has been fond of playing big motorbikes for the last two months and the reason he chose the Ducati Panigale V4 because the motorcycle is fast and very aerodynamic.

“Ducati be like Ferrari if we talk about car, it is high class and its segment is way above. While riding the Ducati, there will be different prestige and proudness. Moreover, Ducati has the best technology and performance and its model is aerodynamic,” Andi said.

According to Andi, the Panigale V4 is the second Ducati occupying his garage. Andi already had a black with white stripe Ducati Monster 821. It is also special because it is actually the first Monster 821 in Indonesia.

“For now, my motorbike is used for sunmori (Sunday morning rides) with my motorbike community. It’s useless having expensive motorbike if we use it by ourselves. We use motorbike to make lots of friends, because my parents said, lots of friends have measn you will have a lot of luck, ” He explained.

Andi admitted he liked the Panigale V4 as it is a new model being launched, the design is cool as well by having the DNA of the Ducatio motorbike in MotoGp racing, He even admitted he has no trouble in taking care the motorbike.

“For the spareparts, I always use the original ones. Apart from the Ducati, nowadays some shops are also able to import parts needed for this big motorbike,” he said.

Meanwhile, APM Manager PT Cakra Motor Sports Riezka Donalsha or familiarly called Eja Donalsha said that the 2020 Ducati Panigale V4 is sold at off the road price of around IDR 859 million. Coupled with taxes and so on, the price was around Rp1 billion. According to Eja, this price is quite reasonable, especially during the corona pandemic like nowadays.

Eja added that the Panigale V4 which is marketed in Indonesia is imported from Thailand. It is because by doing so it coud reduce the price of the motorbike originated from Italia. “If it is imported directly from Italy, the price could be over Rp2 billion,” he said.

The Ducati Panigale V4 has a capacity of 998 cc with four liquid cooled cylinders. The power released by this engine reaches 221 Hp with a peak torque of 112 Nm at 11,500 rpm engine speed.

In terms of the performance, the advantages of the motor sport are also supported by its net weight of around 172 kg, as well as capable control because of the use of the Ohlins suspension.
