Two more days, Big Bad Wolf Book Fair is Back in Jakarta

Jakarta, IO – Good news for book lovers in Indonesia.  The international book bazaar Big Bad Wolf Books (BBW) will be held again from 26 May – 5 June at ICE BSD City, Jakarta.

BBW President Director Uli Silalahi said the event will be held from 9am and is open to the public free of charge.

“BBW Jakarta 2023 comes with a passion for reading as a fun lifestyle,” said Uli, reported Kompas, Wednesday (24/5).

Uli further said this year’s BBW carries the theme #BACAITUKEREN so that reading can be a lifestyle that can be enjoyed by the communities.  According to him, reading can be a medium for obtaining information, insight, knowledge as well as entertainment.

In addition, he said there would be many surprise gifts that would be given to visitors every day.  One of them is a total cash prize worth more than Rp7.5 million and the main prize is a trolley full of books and various other offers.

BBW will also be held in Bandung, Surabaya, Yogyakarta and Balikpapan.  There is also the Red Readerhood (RRH) program.

In this program, BBW Indonesia invites visitors to donate books at the RRH corner.  Later, these books will be distributed to libraries in remote areas across the country.  (un)
