Jakarta, IO – Pollster Indikator Politik Indonesia (IPI) released its latest survey result on the electability of a number of presidential hopefuls for the 2024 elections. The survey found that Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto is still a clear frontrunner.
IPI executive director Burhanuddin Muhtadi explained that there are several reasons why Prabowo is topping the chart even though he never appeared on billboards and television.

“We can look at this using a half-full and a half-empty glass analogy. The glass is half full since Pak Prabowo never put up massive billboards of himself. He never polished his public image by appearing on TV but he still managed to garner 27 percent of votes in a simulation among seven presidential hopefuls,” said Burhan on Monday (4/4).
