Jakarta, IO – The Big 4 by director Timo Tjahjanto is now the most-played Netflix movie globally (in 79 countries). This comedic action movie naturally in the current Netflix top 10 recommendation. According to the Flix Patrol website on Wednesday (21/12/2022), it has beaten other movies for the title with 589 points, higher than The Volcano: Rescue from Whakaari and Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, at the second and third place with 545 and 424 points respectively.
The Big 4 stars up-and-coming actors, including Abimana Aryasatya (“Topan”), Putri Marino (“Dina”), Arie Kriting (“Jenggo”), Lutseha (“Alpha”), and Kristo Immanuel (“Pelor”). Naturally, they express their joy that their work is so well-received with social media flexes:

Timo himself didn’t expect his flick to be so popular: “This can’t be real,” he said in his Twitter @Timobros, captioning his screen shot of Flix Patrol’s “Top Movies on Netflix” page on 19 December 2022.
Even senior director Joko Anwar expressed his appreciation in his Twitter account, @jokoanwar: “The Big 4 is @timobros best work so far.
