Through art exhibition, Amnesty Indonesia seeks to educate the public on civil liberty

Jakarta, IO – Amnesty International Indonesia has just held #RightsFest: Freedom of Expression Week at Dia.Lo.Gue Artspace in Kemang, South Jakarta on Saturday and Sunday, October 7-8.

During the festival, Amnesty Indonesia presented a report on the situation of civil liberty in Indonesia through art installation.

One of the most interesting pieces is the huge map of Indonesia showing the distribution of civil liberties violations. Amnesty Indonesia noted that from January 2019 to May 2022, there were 333 cases of physical and cyberattacks. In addition, there were 316 victims involved in electronic information and transaction (ITE) cases.
