What is special about Idole is it uses Patchouli Heart essence, an Indonesian indigenous essential oil as one of the base notes.

Lancome Idole is jointly designed by three female perfumers from different continents — Shyamala Maisondieu, Nadège Le Garlantezec and Adriana Medina — who represent three different characters collaborating to invent a perfume with a musky chypre floral scent.

“The three female perfumers mix the fragrance of Idole, including the Indonesian distinctive Patchouli Heart essence in the base notes, thus creating the perfect combination of local and international ingredients,” she said. (un)
