Prabowo Subianto Djojohadikusumo
Born October 17,1951, is an Indonesian businessman, politician, former Lieutenant General in the Indonesian National Armed Forces and General Chairman of Gerindra, The Great Indonesia Movement Party. He is the son of Prof.Sumitro Djojohadikusumo, an Indonesian economist who served as former President Suharto’s minister for economy and minister for research and technology. Prof.Sumitro named Prabowo Subianto after his own younger brother, a martyr hero who died in a battle against the Japanese in Tangerang (1946) during the Indonesian national revolution.
