The exotically beautiful pink sand beach in Lombok

IO, Jakarta – The beauty of Lombok Island has become popular to many tourists, ranging from local and foreign tourists. This is not surprising, as the island of Lombok has a wonderful natural charm with many types of flora and fauna. Located on the east of Bali island, Lombok apparently inherited the beauty of the beach that is equally as good as the island of Bali. Each year, more and more tourists make Lombok as one of their tourist destinations apart from Bali.

Therefore, the number of tourists who visit this place have increased significantly. The Lombok tourism is getting special attention from tourists. With the availability and construction of various supporting facilities, this has allowed tourists to not worry about their various needs when wanting to travel to the islands located in Lombok. Tangsi Beach provides a very beautiful natural scenery, so it’s a pity if you miss it when visiting Lombok. The beach is surrounded by towering cliffs and there is a pavilion (bale) on the cliff. You can enjoy the sceninc views of the coastal stretch of the cliff.

Tangsi beach or better known as Pink Beach has the privilege of the sand beaches colored in rose pink or pink. The pink sand on the beach is caused by white sand mixed together with coral reefs that are porous and become pink sand flakes. That’s what causes the sand of Tangsi Beach to be rose pink or pink. Tangsi beach is in Sekaroh Village, Jerowaru District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Tangsi beach has a distance of about 60 km from the city of Mataram, or about 2 hours by road trip.

The word “tangsi” in the Indonesian Dictionary means dormitory. It is quite natural that the local people consider this beach as at one point of time to be the headquarters of the Japanese army. This matter has strong evidence and clarified with the existence of artificial caves and cannons that are relics of the Japanese nation located not far from the Tangsi Beach.

For tourists who want to visit Tangsi Beach they can do many activities such as snorkeling, fishing, and also swimming on the beach. For those of you who want to do snorkling, try to bring your own snorkling equipment because this beach does not provide snorkeling equipment rental services. In addition, you can also rent a fishing boat to be able to go around the small islands adjacent to Tangsi Beach. Alternatively, you can also explore the Japanese heritage cave located not far from Tangsi Beach.

This beach does not have many public facilities or inns, if you want to visit this beach it is advised to depart from Lombok in the morning so that when you get to Tangsi Beach it is not too late.
