Jakarta, IO – Street robbery case that happened to a British tourist in the road connecting Wakan village to Batu Nampar village, Jerowaru district, East Lombok regency on Thursday (21/7) has not been solved by the police.
East Lombok police spokesperson Iptu Nicolas Oesman confirmed that the case is still being investigated, Antara reported on Friday (29/7). “We are still working and conducting an investigation to uncover the case,” he said.
CA (24) was robbed at around 17.00 WITA when he was going back to Kuta Beach, Central Lombok, where he was staying, after a trip to Pink Beach. As it was getting dark, the victim did not realize that he was being followed by the perpetrator.

At Embung Kao road, Wakan village, the victim was stopped by the perpetrator. The robber threatened the victim with a machete and took his motorbike. The victim immediately reported the incident to Jerowaru police station. (rr)
