Some participants cosplayed as the twin banyan tree costumes, Gatotkaca (Javanese hero character), Bergada, and other Yogyakartarelated characters. The Cultural Agency praised the creativity of the participants by awarding ten “Best Costume” winners and two “Best of the Best Costume” winners with prizes.
“We aim to introduce the public to the unique cultural heritage area by presenting a Best Costume Award to Culture Fun Run participants dressed as cultural heritage areas,” said Yetti.
Participants in the running event also received dozens of prizes from the sponsoring companies if they could answer the quiz questions, including bicycles, refrigerators, shopping vouchers, and several other products.
