IO, Ambon – Swiss-Belhotel Ambon supports the government’s efforts to curtail the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), in both working areas and in public facilities of the hotel which may potentially have direct contact with guests.
In terms of sustaining our working environment, Management has constantly conducted socialization of all employees pertaining to risk mitigation of COVID-19, which includes the prevention of viral transmission and standardized procedures for handling any case upon its occurrence. We have also provided sufficient healthcare equipment, such as hand sanitizers, masks and gloves for employees who are in direct contact with guests; the Hotel regularly sterilizes working areas with disinfectant spray.
Full safety procedures are also implemented towards any of our facilities that could be exposed to the public. The management of Swiss-Belhotel Ambon has been proactively sterilizing our public areas such as entrances, elevators, toilets, cashier’s kiosk, receptionist desk, etc. with disinfectant spray; areas are equipped with sanitizers. All visitors and guests are required to undergo the safety protocol which comprises body temperature checks and hand sanitizer utilization, prior to entering the lobby area. In addition, a particular sign promoting social distancing has been displayed in our elevators as the urgency to raise the awareness of social distancing behavior upon our guests and employees.
These series of preventive activities are carried out to support the government’s efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and to protect our valued employees and honored guests.
