“Sudamala: Dari Epilog Calonarang” performance gives a sneak peek into life

Jakarta, IO – Titimangsa Foundation and Indonesia Kaya have just held a performance titled “Sudamala: Dari Epilog Calonarang” at the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI), Jakarta. The two-day performance, September 10-11, is a collaboration between actress Happy Salma and actor Nicholas Saputra as the producers.

This is the Titimangsa Foundation’s 59th performance as well as the first since the pandemic. It was also its first outdoor performance after 15 years.

That night, the stage stood majestically behind the ANRI Building, decorated with beautiful Balinese ornaments. Ninety Balinese artists are ready to wow the audience. Most of the invited guests wore all-white outfits with Balinese accessories.

However, the heavy rain lashing the capital since the afternoon delayed the show for an hour on Friday (9/9). The audience was finally invited to enter the performance venue at 21.00 WIB.
