General (Ret.) Subagyo Hadi Siswoyo was the former commander of Kopassus, serving from September 1994 to December 1995. He was succeeded by Prabowo.
Subagyo was the only Army Chief of Staff who served three presidents — President Suharto, President B.J. Habibie and President Abdurrahman “Gus Dur” Wahid.
