SLANK’s “Tujuh” concert in seven cities

Jakarta, IO – Slank’s album “Tujuh” (Seven) is turning 25 this year, and the band is ready to celebrate its anniversary by holding concerts in all seven cities. The album is known to mark “Slank’s revival album” following the Indonesian reform in 1998. 

The legendary Kaka (vocals), Abdee (guitar), Ridho (guitar/piano), Ivanka (bass), and Bimbim (drums) are ready to perform before the Slankers, their fans, in Solo on May 10, Surabaya on May 13, Bali on May 17, Pekanbaru on May 26, Lampung on June 2, Bandung on June 9, and wrap their concert tour in Jakarta on June 23. 

The album features hit singles that have sold millions of copies. Slank is slated to sing 14 hit songs for fans coming to the seven cities. “This concert is a 25-year celebration of the album “Tujuh”, with all 14 songs from the album to be presented at the concert, along with several other hits that Slank usually sing on stage,” explained Bimbim, the band’s leader. 

The concert promises to put on Slank’s memorable performance, tailoring it to suit the cities where they will perform. “Slank’s performances will be different in all seven cities; we will use different gimmicks and concepts to adapt to the regional elements of the cities,” continued Bimbim. 

Bimbim further said they will collaborate with local heroes, particularly in Bali and Jakarta. JNE, a national express and logistics company, as the official logistics partner, will provide maximum support for Slank’s logistics during the seven-city tour.
