Satria takes a second in the Indonesian Fire Fighting Robot Contest

IO, Purwokerto – The Satria Team, consisting of 15 students from Jenderal Soedirman University (Unsoed) Purwokerto, Central Java, won 2nd place in the Regional Indonesian Fire Fighting Robot Contest, Wednesday and Thursday, 7-8 October. 

The 2020 Robot Contest is organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture’s National Achievement Center. The 2020 contest, acknowledging the pandemic, changed its concept, from a live contest to an online one. The Satria group is in the Robot Team, guided by lecturers from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Priswanto and Dadang Iskandar. 

The Satria Team was chaired by Abu Bakar As Shidiq Al Muqayyim, and consisted of Saeful Mu’min, Adinda Rizkijati, Vita Anjarwati, Nenshira Septyaning, Rifqi Dwi Prastomo, Syafrudin Rais, Nur Ardli R., M. Fikra A., M. Aryo Putra, Deo Nathanael N., Ragil Subekti, Aef S., Rizki Sepdi N., and Novia Salsabila. Apart from Electrical Engineering and Informatics students, the Satria Team also consisted of students from the Faculty of Economics and Business and the Faculty of Agriculture. 

By being ranked second in the regional level, the Satria Team has the right to advance to the national level. The success of the Satria Team in winning the contest this time received a note of appreciation from the Vice-Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs, Kuat Pudji Prayitno.
