Jakarta, IO – Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno dismissed Australian Senator Pauline Hanson’s accusation that Bali streets are littered with cow dung.

Sandiaga uploaded a remark by Pauline who was concerned about the foot and mouth disease (FMD) outbreak in Indonesia. Pauline said she feared that Australian citizens who visited Bali will bring back the highly contagious disease which will be devastating to Australia’s cattle industry, Detik reported on Saturday (6/8).

“Bali is totally different to other countries,” said Pauline. She then pointed to the fact that cows in Bali are let free to roam the streets.

“Cattle s**t on the ground, people walked on that s**t. That s**t is then brought back on their clothing and on their person and back into this country,” said Pauline in a fiery and less-than-diplomatic speech.
