IO, Jakarta – National Committee to Elect Prabowo-Sandi (Badan Pemenangan Nasional– “BPN Prabowo-Sandi”) Spokesman Said Didu and the former Vice Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi – “KPK”) Bambang Widjojanto (BW) have joined forces to establish the “Save Democracy National Movement”. They established this movement because they consider that the 2019 Elections was neither fair nor honest, and it is imperative that our country stops this structured, massive, and systematic fraud.
Said Didu stated that violations in the 2019 Elections were structured and systematic, and none of the stages in the process went well. “In the 2019 Elections, the fraud was structured, systematic, and massive. Everything was well-organized, starting from the planning and execution of the voting, and down to the vote count. The President, who should be responsible, remains mute from the start,” Said Didu stated in the discussion in the SCBD area, South Jakarta, on Sunday (21/4/2019).
Said Didu mentioned the suspicion of invalidity of 17.5 voters listed in the Final Voters’ List (Daftar Pemilih Tetap – “DPT”). “Why did I say that the fraud is structured from planning stage? Because there has been no resolution of the suspicious 17 million plus data in the DPT. There is an obvious involvement of the governors, regents, district heads, sub-district heads and village headmen, and even Community Association and Neighborhood Association heads. It’s as if the entire half of the stadium has screamed, but the referee keeps on not blowing his whistle!”
In the same opportunity, BW concurred with Said Didu. He stated that the 2019 Presidential Elections did not satisfy the principles of an election: direct, public, free, confidential, honest, and fair (langsung, umum, bebas, rahasia, jujur, dan adil – “luber-jurdil”). “Luber was not satisfied, let alone jurdil. If the elections have failed to satisfy basic principles, why are we holding them then? This failure moves us to conclude that the fraud is structured, systemic, and massive (terstruktur, sistemis, masif – “TSM”),” he said.
On the other hand, Jumhur, the ex-Chairman of the National Agency for the Placement and Protection of Indonesia’s Workers (Kepala Badan Nasional Penempatan dan Perlindungan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia – “BNP2TKI”) during President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s era stated that only people power can stop the excesses of Jokowi’s regime. “Only the people’s power can stop and fight fraud, because the authorities, in this case the organizer, can make new voting forms, new holograms to eliminate proof of fraud, so that we will surely lose if we take it to a court of law,” he warned.
