Jakarta, IO – Jakarta Fashion Week (“JFW”), the grandest fashion event in the Homeland, will not be held until October. However, it did organize a “teaser event” for Ramadan: the Rayya Fashion Festival (“RFF”) 2023 on 10-16 April 2023.
The RFF is a FashionLink Pop-Up Retail Experience on the Ground Floor, Atrium of Pondok Indah Mall II. The premium segment of the event, the Dewi LUXe Market (“DLM”), was held on the Ground Floor Atrium of Pondok Indah Mall III. That’s where the peak event was held on Saturday, 15 April 2023, the presentation of the Ria Miranda collection for the LUX Hijab Series.
Karnika Grikanandini, LUX’s Senior Brand Manager, expressed her joy at LUX’s collaboration with Ria Miranda on the Rayya Fashion Festival 2023. “LUX presents the first multi-sensory fashion show ever – the audience will not only see the beauty of Ria Miranda’s crafts up close, but they will also enjoy the luxury scent of LUX Hijab Series, which we design specifically for Muslimahs. We hope that the collaboration can encourage Indonesian women to proudly and confidently show their beauty, femininity, and spiritual identity – just like Ria Miranda herself, whose feminine and elegant modest beauty and fashion designs inspire Indonesian Muslimahs,” she said.
“Beauty and comfort” are the main spirit that Ria Miranda seeks to bring to the RFF 2023 stage. Her collection of loose modest wear contains six pieces in gentle, sweet color palette: long one-piece gowns, wide skirts, mixed and matched with outer pieces decorated with 3D floral dan geometric embellishments. The set was inspired by the romance and warmth of “kampung halaman” or “home village”, evoked during Eid-el-Fitr family reunions. Her characteristic interplay of materials, textures, and colors include matching bags and shoes. The collection is perfect for women seeking to celebrate their victory after their pious dedication to worship during the Ramadan.
