“If Puan Maharani and Prabowo Subianto are supported by PDI-P and Gerindra, and Ganjar Pranowo not nominated by PDI-P, then we will possibly have three pairs of candidates,” said Bawono.
This will result in three “axis” – PDI-P and Gerindra, party coalition that nominates Ganjar Pranowo, and another that nominate Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan. According to polls conducted by various institutions, Anies also has high electability, competing with Ganjar and Prabowo, even though he is currently not a member of any party.
