Jakarta, IO – Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto met with Coordinating Economic Minister Airlangga Hartarto at the latter’s office on Monday (19/9).
At the closed-door meeting, the two discussed a number of crucial issues relating to national resilience. Their conversation lasted about 60 minutes.
Airlangga said they discussed various issues from economic self-reliance, national resilience, defense and security as well as geopolitical developments.
He also emphasized the importance of inter-ministerial synergies to respond to global turmoil which has impacted the country.

“We discussed issued that have an impact on the life of the Indonesian people, from food security, energy crisis, the threat of financial crises in other countries, as well as a number of challenges that are being faced by the global community,” revealed Airlangga. (un)
