IO, Bogor – Presidential candidate number 02 Prabowo Subianto conveyed his congratulations on Idul Fitri 1440 H to the Indonesian people, through his official Facebook account. “I, Prabowo Subianto, wish you all a happy Eid al-Fitr 1440 H / 2019, ‘Mohon Maaf, Lahir dan Batin’ [which literally means ‘please forgive any wrong actions of my body (outwardly) and my soul (inwardly)’]. May our prayers and worship be accepted by Allah SWT,” Prabowo said on his Facebook account, Wednesday, June 5, 2019.
He reminded all that Ramadan was a month of forgiveness, a month of purification, a month of introspection into the journey of life, and a month which exceeds a thousand months.
Prabowo urged all the people to pray that they would be blessed and given the opportunity to meet with Ramadan once again. “Pray to become the people who are awarded victory in this world and in the hereafter,” he said.
On Wednesday morning, Prabowo held an Eid prayer get-together with residents living near his residence in Bojongkoneng Village, Babakan Madang District, Bogor, West Java.
He suggested local residents perform their Eid Al-Fitr prayers together for the first time at Nurul Wathan Mosque, just built and just inaugurated on 16 April. (dsy)
