Jakarta, IO – Survey and Polling Indonesia (SPIN) Executive Director Igor Dirgantara has released the Agency’s latest survey on the chances of potential candidates for the upcoming 2024 Presidential Elections. Among others, the survey measures each candidate’s electability by performing a head-to-head comparison of their names, to see how respondents feel about each candidate.
The SPIN survey was carried out on 28 March-7 April 2022, with a total of 1,230 respondents, at least 17 years of age, in 34 provinces. The method used was a multi-stage random survey, calculated with a reliability level of 95% and a margin of error of ± 2.8%.

Great Indonesia Movement (Gerakan Indonesia Raya – “Gerindra”) Party General Chairman, Prabowo Subianto will almost certainly win the Presidential Election if he faces only one pair of opponents in the contest. He is also in an advantageous position should he battle 6 other candidates for the Presidency, i.e., Ganjar Pranowo, Anies Baswedan, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (“AHY”), Erick Thohir, Airlangga Hartarto and Muhaimin Iskandar.
