Air Force spokesperson Air Marshal Indan Gilang Buldansyah in his press statement said the pilot officer graduated from the Indonesian Air Force Academy (AAU) in 2015 and the Air Force Aviation School in 2017. He is survived by his wife and a toddler.
“The incident was very tragic and caused deep sorrow,” he said.

He explained that the plane with call sign TT-5009 made the last radio contact at 19.25 WIB, before it crashed. The wreckage was found by residents and regional officials of Blora regency at a forested area.
“Currently, the Indonesian Air Force has formed a team to investigate the causes of the crash,” said Indan. (rr)
