In the same vein, Indonesia’s sixth vice president, Gen. (Retd.) Try Sutrisno also expressed his hope that TNI personnel, active or retired, can continue to uphold the “Sapta Marga” oath and cement their identity as soldiers-warriors.
“A warrior always longs for unity and integrity. With unity and integrity, we were able to seize and defend the independence together with all the people. We should continue this and pass it on to our future generations,” said Try.
