Putu also said the Command Center is equipped with cutting-edge facilities such as drone monitoring, GPS patrol vehicles tracking, body-worn cameras, Polisiku dashboard, Dashboard 110 and SOT Precision.
“This facility is also optimized to handle natural disasters and tsunamis in the area around Bali. Several features such as BMKG [Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency] weather information, and real-time information on natural disasters and tsunamis across Indonesia, BNPB [National Disaster Mitigation Agency] InaRISK, wind speed, tides and wave heights, SOP video for evacuation in the event earthquake and tsunami strike the Nusa Dua Bali area,” said Putu.
Putu ensured that representatives of the United Nations (UN) had assessed the security readiness ahead of the G20 Summit.
“United Nations deputy secretary general Amina J. Mohammed is assured of the readiness of Polri in securing these international events. Indonesia has also carried out joint activities with the United Nations in Bali,” said Putu. (rr)
