Jakarta, IO – Gerindra Party chairman who is also the defense minister, Prabowo Subianto, emerges as the most favorite figure in the runup to the 2024 presidential election.
In a simulation of three potential candidates conducted by Political Weather Station (PWS), Prabowo Subianto was well ahead of Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo and Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.

“39.5% of respondents said they would vote for Prabowo, while Ganjar garnered 25.7% and Anies 23.9%,” said PWS researcher Mohammad Tidzi AM announced on Saturday (16/4).
That said, there were still 10.9% undecided respondents. As for pair simulation, PWS conducted two simulations for the three leading presidential hopefuls.
