Police nabs two who rob and attack a Japanese national in Jakarta

Jakarta, IO – Police arrested two perpetrators who robbed and hacked a Japanese citizen on Roa Malaka Street, Tambora, West Jakarta, Monday (13/6).

“The two perpetrators are NA a.k.a Tole (22) and MFR (20). They were arrested on the same day at around 19.00 WIB,” said West Jakarta Police Chief (Pol) Commissioner Pasma Royce, as reported by CNN Indonesia, Tuesday (14/6).

He explained that the Japanese national, an MRT employee, was held at gunpoint when he came home from work. “At the time of the incident, the two perpetrators were riding a blue and white Honda CBR 150 bike with the police number B-3697-EHE while carrying a sickle,” said Pasma.
