Jakarta, IO – The National Police (Polri) chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo said an incident that occurred in Magelang was believed to be the motive for the murder of Brigadier J.
“What prompted FS (Ferdy Sambo) to do it was because he was angry and emotional after hearing the report from PC (Putri Candrawathi, his wife) on the incident that happened in Magelang which he deemed to have insulted the dignity of the family,” said Gen. Listyo, as reported by Kompas on Wednesday (24/7).
However, Listyo did not elaborate further. He said the motive would be further unveiled at the court.
Brigadier J was shot dead at the official residence of former chief of police’s internal affairs division Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, on July 8. Ferdy Sambo is alleged to be the mastermind behind the assassination.

Apart from Sambo, the investigation team has named four other suspects, namely Second Patrolman Richard Eliezer (“Bharada E”), Chief Brigadier Ricky Rizal (“Bripka RR”), Putri Candrawati (Ferdy’s wife) and Kuat Ma’ruf (Putri’s driver). (un)
