IO, JAKARTA – The first season of the DC original that tells the story of Bruce Wayne’s legendary butler, Alfred Pennyworth, starts airing on Warner TV on June 29 at 20.00 WIB; the next episodes will air every Monday at 20.00 WIB.
Pennyworth is about Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon – The Imitation Game), a former British SAS in his 20s, who founded a security company in London in the 1960s and works for young billionaire Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge – Our Girl, Reign, Fleabag) before he became Bruce Wayne’s father.
Besides Bannon and Aldridge, Pennyworth also stars Emma Paetz (Gentleman Jack), Hainsley Lloyd Bennett (Eastenders), Ryan Fletcher (Outlander), and Dorothy Atkinson (Hanna, Harlots, Call the Midwife), along with Paloma Faith (The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus) and Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button).
