“All party cadres must be disciplined in all stages of the election and with regard to candidacy, let the chairman decide,” he said.
Hasto also commented on Ganjar’s electability which continues to soar in a slew of polls conducted recently. He admitted that he did not want leaders who are only popular electoral wise.
“But one with a leadership quality and character, and strategic agendas in safeguard the fate of more than 270 million Indonesian people,” he said.

PDI-P reportedly has not given its blessing to support Ganjar despite his high electability. Rumours have been spreading that Ganjar would be nominated by the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) which comprises Golkar, PAN, and PPP. (un)
