Jakarta, IO – PDI-P secretary general Hasto Kristiyanto criticized the performance of Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan. He revealed that poverty rate in Jakarta is still the same as in the past 15 years. In fact, according to him, Ahok-Djarot’s performance is better than Anies.

“Poverty in Jakarta is the same as 15 years before, finally the people can see that Pak Ahok and Pak Djarot are better than the current [governor],” Hasto was quoted as saying by Suara, Wednesday (22/6).

Earlier, PDI-P central executive board Djarot Saiful Hidayat admitted that he was very concerned about the current state of Jakarta residents, especially since the poverty rate is still very high.

“I’m concerned because Jakarta has a very large budget. We are still waiting for the realization of the promise to build a decent housing for the poor. It’s still not clear how many housing units have been built through the zero down payment policy despite the large regional budget the city has,” said Djarot.
