Jakarta, IO – The scene at the Pertamina Central Hospital (RSPP), Jakarta, when a fire started on Monday (26/8). A total of 20 fire trucks and 85 firefighters were deployed to handled the incident.
The fire reportedly started at around 1.30pm WIB on the fourth floor of the building, precisely on the electrical panel in the treatment room area that was under renovation. It spread to a number of rooms before successfully extinguished at around 2.30pm.

This incident prompted evacuations of patients in the emergency ward. They were rushed to other parts of the hospital unaffected by the fire. There were no reported fatalities and currently the hospital operations have returned to normal. (IO/Septo Kun Wijaya)
