Jakarta, IO – Papua Governor Lukas Enembe’s lawyer Aloysius Renwarin acknowledged that his client travelled abroad to gamble at a casino, bit it was purely for entertainment.
Lukas’s gambling activities abroad has drawn spotlight. Recently, the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) revealed that Lukas transferred a deposit of Rp560 billion to a casino, Kompas reported on Tuesday (27/9).
The Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) also revealed a number of photos and locations showing Lukas gambling in three countries.
“My client admitted that he gambled while in Singapore. But it was only for entertainment,” said Aloysius.
