Jakarta, IO – The Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) Ministry revealed out of the 600,000 civil service positions to open this month, 60,000 will be placed at the new administrative capital Nusantara (IKN).
PAN-RB minister Abdullah Azwar Anas ensured that this selection will be carried out strictly with the priority given to digital talent and workers.
“At the behest of President Jokowi, there will also be affirmative action in the form of five percent allocation of positions for the best native sons and daughters of Kalimantan,” said Azwar at IKN, as per Republika, Mon (12/8).

The government hopes that this measure will create a capital city that is inclusive and beneficial to all, especially the surrounding regions, in terms of economic and employment opportunities.
“Because IKN will adopt a smart government system or e-government, those with digital skills will be prioritized in the recruitment,” Azwar added. (at)
