IO – OPPO Indonesia symbolically submitted donations Phase III (or the final stage) of the #SejernihDepanMata campaign series to Dompet Dhuafa on Monday, June 22, 2020. The donations will then be realized in the form of food packages for economically affected beneficiaries in Jakarta and surrounding areas.
“We thank you for the support and participation of consumers, O-fans, the community, Dompet Dhuafa, and various parties who have supported OPPO Indonesia’s donation activities so far. Hopefully, the donations in the #SejernihDepanMata campaign series that have been concluded will not stop here but will be a sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in the future,” said Aryo Meidianto A., PR Manager of OPPO Indonesia.
OPPO Indonesia has donated food packages through Dompet Dhuafa starting in mid-April 2020. This donation is intended for beneficiaries ranging from the visually impaired, the elderly and poor, medical workers, orphanages, and several groups affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. OPPO, together with Dompet Dhuafa, has distributed to several areas such as Tangerang, Depok, Bekasi, Bogor, and new ones in South Jakarta. Later, in this third donation, Dompet Dhuafa will continue distribution to Bekasi and Depok.
OPPO and Dompet Dhuafa have distributed food packages to hundreds of beneficiary communities in the Greater Jakarta area. In addition to targeting the community directly, OPPO also coordinates with the government through the agencies responsible for helping to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic.
