Jakarta, IO – Gerindra Party deputy chairman Sufmi Dasco Ahmad responded to President Joko Widodo’s signal to support Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election during the national working meeting of Pro-Jokowi Volunteers (Projo) a short while ago. Dasco said this was a normal political dynamic.
“I think what was conveyed at the volunteer event is a legitimate dynamic,” Dasco was quoted as saying by Kompas, Wednesday (25/5).

The deputy speaker of the House said Jokowi’s remark at the event was not something out of the ordinary. “What the President said, if we studied it more deeply, I think there is nothing extraordinary,” he continued.
Dasco asked all Gerindra Party cadres to remain solid and not be distracted by the existing dynamics.
“We continue to ask Gerindra Party cadres across Indonesia to remain solid and work as usual,” he concluded. (at)
