The three witnesses then entered the house and asked to see Reni Margareta, his wife, as it was her name that was on the certificate. The cooperative employees were led by Budiyanto and Dian, his daughter, to Reni’s bedroom. Dian asked them not to turn on the light.
“As soon as the door to the room was opened, they smelled an even more foul odour. ‘My mother is sleeping, don’t turn on the light because she is sensitive to light,” said Hengki, repeating what Dian told the employees.

However, one of the employees turned on the flashlight on his phone without Dian’s knowledge. They were shellshocked after seeing a corpse on the room.
