New facts from crime scene investigation of a family found dead in West Jakarta

Jakarta, IO – Jakarta Metro Police Department once again conducted a crime scene investigation at the house of a family who died in Kalideres, West Jakarta, Wednesday (16/11).

The investigation into the deaths of four people — RG (71), RM (66), BG (68) and DF (42) – was carried out by Jakarta Police criminal investigation directorate (Ditreskrimum) and West Jakarta Police.

A number of new facts were found from the investigation, including a large amount of trash at the back of the house, reported CNN Indonesia, Thursday (17/11).

The finding pointed toward the reclusive family’s relationship with the neighbours. In addition, the police claim to have establish a new motive.

“We have made some progress, the investigation has shed some light on the motive,” said Ditreskrimum director Chief Commissioner Hengki Haryadi.

Hengki admitted that the case is complicated case, so the investigation must proceed cautiously. The police also found maggots which could reveal the time of death.

The police also involved the Indonesian Forensic Psychology Association (Apsifor) in the investigation to comprehensively study the psychological aspects of the four bodies. (un)
