Jakarta, IO – NasDem central secretariat head Willy Aditya revealed that his party will establish political communication with other political parties to build a coalition starting next week.
“God willing, next week the process will begin. Certain parties will visit NasDem next Wednesday to start the coalition-building talk,” Willy told CNN Indonesia, Saturday (18/6).
Other than political parties, Willy said his party will also initiate personal communication with Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo, and TNI Commander Andika Perkasa. Especially for Ganjar, Willy said NasDem will communicate with him without going through PDI-P, the party in which Ganjar is a cadre.
He, however, reiterated that NasDem has yet to have any particular inclination toward certain parties. According to him, NasDem is open to various possibilities. Willy also said the selection of the vice-presidential candidate would later be discussed with the coalition parties.
