Jakarta, IO – Secretary of the NasDem Party faction at the House, Saan Mustopa, disagreed with the view that President Joko Widodo signalled his support for Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate during the national working meeting (rakernas) of the Pro-Jokowi (Projo) volunteer organization.
Saan opined that what Jokowi did was mere protocol because Ganjar also attended the event held in Central Java.

“In my opinion, it’s just a matter of protocol. Pak Jokowi came to Central Java, so as a protocol the Governor of Central Java must accompany him,” Saan was quoted as saying by Merdeka, Tuesday (24/5).
“It’s up to people to have a different interpretation but I tend to see it from a protocol perspective,” he added.
