Jakarta, IO – Gerindra Party secretary general Ahmad Muzani revealed the reason why Gerindra party nominated Prabowo Subianto as presidential candidate for the upcoming election.
“Gerindra Party must be at the forefront of strengthening NKRI (the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia). We nominated Prabowo to be president because his vision is to strengthen Pancasila and the unity and integrity of NKRI,” said Muzani during a visit to the Gerindra’s West Kalimantan regional executive board (DPD) on Tuesday (23/8).
Muzani was accompanied by a number of Gerindra’s central executive board (DPP) administrators such as deputy chair M. Irfan Yusuf Hasyim (Gus Irfan), Sadar Subagyo, DPP head Danang Wicaksono and Setyoko.
Before members of the board, the administrators and party wing of West Kalimantan DPD, Muzani also said the party must become a symbol of political power that is able to maintain the unity and integrity of the diverse nation.
