Jakarta, IO – A number of automotive vocational training participants repair motorcycle engines at the East Jakarta Regional Job Training Center (PPKD), Wednesday (21/8).
Held by the Jakarta Provincial Administration, it aims to reduce unemployment rates and improve workforce skills. The training saw 20 participants practicing as motorcycle mechanics. They were divided into several teams to complete motorcycle repairs guided by experienced instructors.
They were given basic automotive engineering training such as engine maintenance and repair, motorcycle power transfer systems, to inspection and repair of motorcycle electrical systems. In addition, participants will receive basic material on motorcycle repair theory.

According to the instructor Setiabudi, the training has been conducted since July 29. Later, in early October, they will undertake a competency test, and those who pass will receive a training and competency certificate from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). They will also receive up-to-date information about available job vacancies.
